Griffin Daybreak partnered with Griffin Noonday to distribute to the annual Beat the Heat event with the Spalding County Office of Homeland Security / Emergency Management. This event provides safety and preparedness information to the community, while providing water activities.  Our team provided water to the participants.

Griffin Daybreak partnered with Griffin Noonday to donate funds and acquire box fans to distribute to those in the community in need of heat relief. These clubs partnered with Griffin Walmart and the Spalding County Office of Homeland Security / Emergency Management to acquire and distribute the fans.

Backpack packing for Coweta Family Connection

Members of the Newnan Rotary Club along with other community volunteers spent the afternoon packing backpacks for Coweta Family Connection with a goal of packing 750. These backpacks will be provided to students at the 5th Annual Back to School Bash and Backpack Giveaway.

Backpacks for Horizons Atlanta Scholars

>Before the July 13, 2026 meeting, the entire Buckhead Rotary Club rolled up its sleeves for a hands-on service project. In just 15 minutes, all 46 attending Rotarians stuffed 100 Buckhead Rotary backpacks with school supplies for first- and second-grade "scholars" in the Horizons Atlanta programs at The Temple, The Galloway School, and Atlanta International School.

Horizons Atlanta Holiday Celebration

A Rotarian-led Holiday party for approximately 100 students enrolled in Horizons Atlanta programs at Atlanta International School (AIS), Galloway and The Temple. The three programs in close proximity to Buckhead. The event will be held on the AIS campus in December 2026 and will provide every participating student with a personally selected, age-appropriate wrapped gift, a visit and photograph with Santa Claus, festive refreshments, and a full afternoon of joy, connection, and celebration.
